Tech Valley High School would like to thank the Foundation of the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, Intl. for the financial support of the school's inaugural summer camp this upcoming July. The foundation will donate a $2,000 Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs grant.

“We are excited to offer these opportunities to a wide range of students, including those who may never have the chance to attend our high school. Thanks to your generosity, our students will have a richer experience with fabrication and technology as they apply hands-on learning to their innovative ideas,” Principal James Niedermeier said.

The camp will be held from July 17-21 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The free experience is open to middle school students entering 7th and 8th grades in the 2017-18 school year.

Students will engage in a collaborative project and innovate solutions to a real-world problem faced by one of Tech Valley High's business partners. Students will work in groups and present their ideas on the last day of camp. The program is based at TVHS, but students will also have the opportunity to participate in fun off-site field work opportunities as they explore innovation in the Tech Valley region.

To register, parents are invited to contact TVHS School Outreach Coordinator Sarah Fiess at (518) 862-4958.
