This four-part series will be on the book "Gamestorming" by David Gray. The series is free, just bring your own book. The first session will be held Tuesday, Sept. 20 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. More details are listed below. As an exciting bonus, the first meeting will feature some real-life "gamestorming" as we collaborate on a challenge presented by 1st Playable, a local tech company dedicated to using games in education.
Our partners at 1st Playable Tobi Saulnier and Matt Nolin will share an exciting project that they are working on -- gameifying microbiology! They are looking for some teacher volunteers to develop lessons using their platform and have volunteered to briefly present on their project during our first meeting. We will have the opportunity to practice "Gamestorming" by trying out one of the games on their concept. Check out the prototype here.
