What are the most important things that you will take from TVHS into your next steps as an adult?
Being able to work in teams and in a collaborative environment set me up with the skills I will need to be successful in any career.

What were the highlights of your experience at TVHS?
My junior year I did my I-Term at EYP Architecture. It helped me set my mind to be an architect. It was one of coolest experiences I’ve ever had. I got to see what an architect actually does at work every day. I also really enjoyed my Creative Writing class with Mr. O’Brien. I’ve always been interested in fiction writing, but I never had a place to develop it. It was good for me to get that experience for a hobby.

Any advice for underclassmen?
Whatever you want to do, you’ve got to take initiative. Cater your TVHS experience to what you want it to be. I did my I-Term at 1st Playable this year. Before I started, I talked to my community partner and Mr. Niedermeier to set up a meeting to design an actual project to work on while I was there. I let them know what I wanted to do, and it changed my I-term experience to something really progressive.

Senior Share:
I played flag football through Afrim’s, and the last year I was able to play for the youth league, we won the championship. I’m obsessed with football. I look forward to playing in the adult league when I turn 18.
