What are the most important things that you will take from TVHS into your next steps as an adult?
The ability to work on projects with teams of people who have different personalities. It’s key because in college and the workforce, sometimes you have to work with people you don’t want to work with. You have to be able to put differences aside to get things done, and done well.

What were the highlights of your experience at TVHS?
I-Term and Senior Project pointed me in the direction of what I want to do for the rest of my life. I did my I-Term at Sawyer Chevrolet, and I’ve worked there every day after school since then. I’ll be a full-time employee this summer before I go to college. There is no possible way I would have gotten this job without I-Term. During I-Term, I didn’t get thrown into a cleaning position. I was a mechanic who worked on vehicles. It gave me dealership experience before I go to college, which is really important.

What are your favorite memories of Tech Valley High?
I loved participating in the FIRST robotics competitions. It’s one of biggest things I’ll miss. I learned a lot from both the robotics class and club; knowledge that you can’t get anywhere else because TVHS is one of the only schools in area that has the program. It’s so important to get the technology literacy we get at TVHS. As a mechanic, I wouldn't be able to do three-quarters of my job without a laptop.

If you could thank your home district for giving you the opportunity to attend TVHS, what would you say?
I would thank them for taking the opportunity to give me the best education possible.

Senior Share:
I was involved in a semi-professional racing series and I raced go-karts for four years.

Any advice for underclassmen?
Do all of your work on time. Don’t procrastinate, it’s not worth it.
